It was a pretty painful misappropriation and oversimplification of deep and rich cultures, and a lot of people were upset about it.</p>\x0a<p>Professor Soong-Chan Rah (author of <a href="http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=3360">The Next Evangelicalism</a>) has been posting regularly about his frustrations with the issue, and the situation has only degraded&#8230; until now.
